One trip I'm waiting to take - Dazzling Dubai!

When I think of Dubai, I can picture the Burj Khalifa from the MI4 movie. I can also picture the sand-dunes and endless dessert, and of-course, shopping! Friends and relatives who have been to Dubai have recommended Dubai as must-go place  in the travel bucket list.

From the endless list of exotic Dubai Hotels I would love to stay at Atlantis – The Palm, a luxury resort and theme park situated in the Palm Jumeirah – The impossible man-made island in the shape of a palm tree.If I had to plan my itinerary, I would start by booking flights. And when it comes to traveling to UAE, I would blindly go with Emirates. The most trusted, comfortable airline company to fly with. I guess if one books in advance, one can get great deals on air fare.
The (almost) long weekend during Diwali looks like a great slot to take a vacation to this place. Because if you take a couple of days off, you get a whopping 9 day holiday at a stretch!

The official Dubai Tourism website has the perfect itinerary for a 5 day holiday –

For shopping and dining, the Dubai Mall is a must visit. Just a hop, skip and a jump from Burj Khalifa is The Dubai Mall. By calling this sprawling development merely a shopping mall is doing it a massive disservice. Even an entire day spent here isn't enough to see it all. Housing more than 1,200 shops and 150 restaurants, the venue is also home to an indoor theme park, an ice rink, a 155-million-year-old dinosaur skeleton, a huge indoor waterfall, a luxury hotel, a choreographed fountain bigger than the one at Las Vegas’ Bellagio, and a giant aquarium and underwater zoo featuring sharks, stingrays, penguins, and many more exotic animals.

Would love to spend one day in the Old Dubai, visiting the street shops and taking in the aroma of spices. This place is also called as the Dubai Creek. While at the Creek, a ride across the water on a traditional abra is a must, and at an unbelievably cheap one dirham per person for a one-way ticket, it's easily the best-value tourist attraction in the city.

Dubai has a lot for him, her, and the kids . The next day would probably go in adventure sports and dessert safari. Be it indoor or outdoor adventure, Dubai has got a plentiful of both.

I would come back with awesome memories, lots of gifts for friends and family, and a rejuvenated self! And I’m sure I shall be planning my next trip already by then. After all, you cannot start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one.

Gini & Jony for Jabong

Being a shopaholic, fashion lover and one who could wear the fragrance of new clothes as a perfume; it was but obvious that I would totally want to doll up my baby, whether a girl or boy. Of-course, for girls there are unlimited pretty options, but I am content with making my 9 month old boy look as dapper as he can!
I keep hunting for new places to shop for him, and recently when I was browsing through Jabong, one of my favourite places to shop for outfits, I saw Gini & Jony for Jabong. Gini & Jony is a very well established lineage of kidswear, it was there when I was a little girl myself. Gini & Jony For Jabong is an exclusive line specially made in collaboration with Jabong. This line is designed for fashion savvy customers of Jabong who crave the best for less.

I don't know about craving the best for less, but I definitely got excited in the fact that this line is specially for Jabong, meaning that it wouldn't be available in their stores. I don't like buying stuff that would become so common that we'd bump into someone else wearing the same thing at a mall. (That is any fashionista's nightmare).

I was pleasantly shocked to see the prices of the merchandise! And there is a EOSS on so slashed prices! Believe it or not, I picked up a pair of jeans and 3 T-shirts all at Rs.1146 including shipping cost. Take a look at what all I bought:
