I saw this advertisement and pondered what would life be without any constraints, nothing to hold me back:
Top 5 things on my Bucket List that I would do if I were #BefikarUmarBhar:
1. Travel. I'm sure this one is on most of your bucket lists too. I want to see the world, meet new people, experience their culture. Vacations are also the opportunities to bond with your close ones. I want to take my parents, who have never traveled internationally, to Canada where my mom's sister lives. I want to take my kiddo to Universal Studios, Disney etc (of-course once he is old enough to enjoy). I want to stay in a water-villa in Maldives and dive into the clear water whenever I feel like. These are some of the many travel wishes I have. Would also add adventure to this list , rafting, sky diving, bungee jumping, scuba diving are some of the thrilling activities I would like to experience on these travels.
2. Write. I love writing (that's a little obvious I guess, me being a blogger.) But I want to write and publish my own book. I have the title and storyline figured out but have not moved ahead. I have been wanting to do that since 2-3 years now but just don't have the courage to take time off and do that. And trying to write side by side along with work and daily routine is just not happening.
3. Set up my own bakery/cafe. If I could have it my way, all I would do is bake cakes and brew coffee. And later relish them too. Such a blissful thing that would be! Having a small cozy cafe where people could read/relax/have conversations/write etc while enjoying homemade cakes and coffee is something I would love doing. Maybe the place would also have a small library where you could pick up a book/magazine while there. And maybe I could take time out every day and sit down in my cafe and work on the book I want to write?
4. Give more time to friends & family. Time is not going to wait for anyone. One day our grandparents and parents wont be there. It's the harsh reality of life which we try to block away from our busy minds. And later regret, but it would be too late. I really want to take out time and meet them more often, have endless conversations with them. Learn secret recipes from my grandmother. Listen the grandfather's philosophical speeches. Reunite with school and college friends whom I haven't met or even spoken to in years.
5. Give time to myself. Now this is also as important. In our busy schedules, we do not even have a few minutes for our own self. I want to take some time out to care for my mind, body and soul. Work out, go for long walks, take relaxing massages and spas, meditate, laugh for no reason, gaze at the clouds, sit on the grass and do nothing. I really want to loose some weight, gain stamina and be fit overall. And experience the small joys of life, for which unfortunately we are never able to remove time.
